This I-ACT Quick Start Guide covers some factors to consider as you design your campaign or project for mobilizing support for human rights. From revisiting previously held notions about the cause of poor engagement by Filipinos (thinking positively about human rights does not guarantee action), selecting the communications channels that would reach more Filipinos (TV and radio still play a large role in disseminating information), understanding the role and influence of the communities Filipinos belong to (what they are exposed to can mean the difference between action and inaction), to prioritizing our wellness as human rights workers and having inclusion as an organic part of the intervention, this guide will assist you as you engage and help Filipinos in their behavior change journey.
