In the following policy, “We” and “Our/s” refers to the Initiatives for Advancing Community Transformation (I-ACT) through its ADVANCE Training Program. I-ACT is a projected funded by the United States Agency for International Development and implemented by The Asia Foundation Philippines.

Web analytics and metadata

Our web server automatically recognizes the domain name of each visitor to the site, but not the email address. The Advance website uses Google Analytics to track and analyze web traffic data through web cookies to better understand the online behavior of users while they are on the site. Google Analytics which measures how our users interact with our website. By default, Google Analytics collects information such as page information, user information, browser information, and other information to better understand the user interactions and use of our website. DATA USE

All information submitted by users and visitors is kept confidential by I-ACT and The Asia Foundation and shall not be sold, traded, published, or otherwise disclosed to anyone in any manner, without the user’s prior written consent. Only designated personnel of I-ACT and The Asia Foundation are permitted to access your personal information. Web analytics and metadata generated through your use of the site are not shared with any other parties and only non-identifiable web traffic data are analyzed.
 
DATA STORAGE

This website uses a Virtual Private Server provided by Dreamhost.com. Access to this server is limited only to authorized employees of The Asia Foundation and partners of Advance. Connection is secured using Secure Socket Layer while Dreamhost implements standard protection for security threats such as malware and DDOS.
 
YOUR DATA RIGHTS

You have the right to directly access, edit, delete, or export any personal data uploaded by you or processed by The Asia Foundation as part of your use of the services provided on this website.

DATA RETENTION

Data collected through our website will be retained until the end of I-ACT on July 21, 2024 upon which date this website will also be terminated. Should the project and website termination date be extended, this policy will reflect the extension date. Upon termination, I-ACT will cause the destruction of all copies and reproductions (both written and electronic). You have the right to request for your data to be erased from our systems by contacting The Asia Foundation.
 
DATA DISCLOSURE

We will may disclose user data without prior written consent when such disclosure is required by law, or by virtue of valid court processes.
 
If a request is made for encrypted message content that we do not possess the ability to decrypt, the fully encrypted message content may be turned over. If permitted by law, we will always contact a user first before any data disclosure.
 
DUTY TO NOTIFY

I-ACT shall, without delay, notify users of any security breach involving any of the user’s personal data. A ‘security breach’ is defined as any event involving an actual, potential, or threatened compromise of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of the data, including but not limited to, any unauthorized access or use.
